Long time no talk

Heyyy que tal?! Sorry I didn't write an email last week, i had two pdays yet there was zero time. But the last two weeks have been really good! So flashback to two weeks ago, we were finally able to meet with María in person! So good. We went on a little walk by the beach with her and halfway through we sat on a bench while she went and layed down, let a wave wash over her, and then we continued on. We were hoping to give her another baptismal Fecha but we don't think she's quite ready yet, but comin up here soon it'll be back!  We also had zone conference, which was amazing as always and then later in the week us and the zone leaders gave our talleres. Nos tocó chapter 1 of preach my gospel which basically means it was our job to help everyone remember how great it is to be a missionary and access the incredible power and opportunities that we have. Not a hard job. We compared a peasant flavored bag of chips to missionaries. That's how we get people hyped up around...

Fuego por todos lados

This week was fueguísima! So many milagros! On Monday and Tuesday we started out the week and the transfer with leadership meetings which were incredible as always, and we got lots of ánimo and new ideas to work with this transfer, wahoo! On Wednesday we had a special noche de hogar with our barrio to animar them for our día de encontrar that we had this Saturday and that went well! We made some funny videos because claro our job as missionaries is to humiliate ourselves all the time to get other people pumped up! Love it! On Thursday we had a milagrazo! So we received a reference for somebody that wanted us to teach english to their 5 year old daughter. So we set up a Cita and we went to visit them and first off, cutest little 5 year old of my life, but she's got an attention span of a solid 0.8 seconds. But we walked in and she was shy for about 5 seconds before she just popped off and started bouncing off the walls. But she invited her friend over and we (very patiently) taught t...

Partyyyyy

This week was a partyyyy. So on Monday, my dear sweet companion HermanaColes left me to head back to the good ole US and so i was supposed to spend the day with the Malaga 2 hermanas until Tuesday when my new companion was going to arrive, but the mission office just wanted to prank me i guess because i later found out she wouldn't be arriving until Saturday! So instead i got to spend the entire week with them and it was hilarious. Time flies though. They're so sweet and they have really cool amigos and they are hilarious. It's an hermana from Missouri and an hermana from Perú and they had me cracking up the entire week. They also basically have a petting zoo right next to their piso so for morning exercise we would just go feed the swans and look at the emus. They also are amazing cooks and I basically ate at a gourmet Peruvian/Spanish/American restaurant for the week. 10/10. Although slight downside was that I didn't get to meet with any of our amigos for the whole we...

The start of something new

It was a very successful week for us! We were able to find some new friends through facebook, do video calls with our amigos, and meet with some members in person! Which was nice so that Hermana Coles could say goodbye because she goes home this week! Speaking of, she left me this morning (we had to get up at 4:30 am) and my next companion won't be arriving until Saturday, so i get to be in a trio with the other Hermanas in malaga until then :) fiestaaaa But our amigos are doing really well! Mathias once again taught us about the book of mormon and we watched the video of the tree of life and he told hermana coles to not worry because he would send her a video of his bautismo :) and Maria finally figured out how to use technology and we saw her face for the first time ever! And she's doing really well, she's been reading the book of mormon every day and she loves it so much. Our amigo pedro also loves the book of mormon very mucho. He retold us the story of Nefi and his bro...
